DRS wins HP Enterprise Security Portfolio Partner of the Year
Testament to DRS’s expertise with the HP portfolio of security solutions, the company was awarded the HP Enterprise Security Portfolio Partner of the Year award for 2013.
The HP Enterprise Security Portfolio Partner of the Year award recognises HP partners that have achieved outstanding accomplishments in the development and delivery of innovative HP-based solutions that raise the standard for business excellence and client satisfaction. The winners are chosen for delivering solutions that drive meaningful results for shared customers.
“We are delighted to have achieved this award, and believe that our expertise with the HP range of market-leading products from ArcSight, Fortify and Tipping Point, was instrumental,” says Jayson O’Reilly, Director: Sales & Innovation at DRS. “We believe the award highlights our proficiency and skills in the security space, together with the best-of-breed range of information security services we provide.”
The HP security portfolio covers six key areas:
Security governance, risk, and compliance: Protects reputation, manages risk, and achieves regulatory compliance by replacing disparate governance functions with an integrated set of services.
Operations security: Integrates information from various security disciplines. Connects security processes with business processes.
Application security: Builds enterprise security into applications. Automates detection and response to vulnerabilities, and enables business agility through secure web applications.
Endpoint security: Protects all endpoint devices and minimises the risk inherent in a mobile workforce while centralising and consolidating management tools to reduce costs.
Network security: Prevents network intrusions while making applications available. Avoids zero-day attacks and automates policy enforcement.
Data Centre Security: Embed security holistically across networking, virtualisation, mobility, and cloud in a data centre.
“We look forward to another year of helping customers avoid the security and governance pitfalls common to modern networks, and believe that HP’s portfolio of solutions will be just as significant to corporate South Africa in 2014,” O’Reilly concludes.
